Eric Hilmoe, Director (Canton)

Eric Hilmoe has served as the Chief Executive Officer at Sanford Canton-Inwood Medical Center in Canton, SD since 2002.  Prior to assuming that position, he served as Chief Financial Officer for this medical facility for four years.

Eric attended the University of South Dakota and obtained a Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration.  He is the current Chair of the South Dakota Association of Healthcare Organizations (SDAHO) and Vice Chair of the Canton Economic Development Corporation.

Eris is a member of Rotary International, served on the Sioux Falls Tomorrow II Task Force from 2003 to 2006, and was recognized by the American Hospital Association as the political action committee's most valuable player in South Dakota in 2006 and 2009.  In 2009, Eric was also the Early Careerist Regents Award recipient from the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE).

Eric and his wife, Meredith Moore, reside in Sioux Falls.  Ms. Moore is an attorney in Sioux Falls.
